From helping our residents prepare for their day to assisting them with participating in stimulating activities, you will play an immense role in their wellbeing. Through this day-to-day contact with our residents, you will have the ability to positively impact their quality of life by providing the best possible care. Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment (8-hour day; 40-hour week) Work hours are available on the following shifts: 2nd shift (2:45 PM to 11:15 PM) 3rd shift (10:45 PM to 7:15 AM) Rotating schedule, working every other weekend Lunch period: 30 minutes Overtime as operationally needed You will receive further communication regarding this position via email. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Active registration as a Nurse Aide in the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Registry; or Six months of paid experience in the care and treatment of geriatric or physically ill patients or residents. Special Requirement: This position is assigned to a long-term or specialized care facility and requires active registration as a Nurse Aide in the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Registry. Additional Requirement: You must be able to perform essential job functions. Legal Requirements: A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination. This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act. Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
