Job Description: Provide technical knowledge and collaboration on all emerging technology project initiatives from inception to implementation, with a focus on demand management, grid modernization and decarburization. Assist with budget oversight, capital planning and ongoing operations of various generation assets. Provide engineering and technical assistance; support for permitting, scheduling, specifications, bidding, bid evaluations, budget management. Also, contracts, construction, testing and commissioning. Assist with obtaining State and Federal grants to help incentivize and subsidize new initiatives. Bachelor's degree in an Engineering Discipline required 6+ years of job related experience Must be experienced and knowledgeable in engineering, operations, maintenance, safety, training, design, construction and quality assurance as they pertain to power plants and generation assets Effective Project Management and Supervisorial Skills; Ability to supervise a team of contractors, consultants, and engineering staff to achieve corporate goals. As well, as ability to manage finances. Experience with design to meet Codes requirements. Knowledge or ASME, ANSI, ASTM, NFPA, IEEE, NACE standards related to power generation and transmission sector a plus.
