Job Description JobSummary A Technical Advisor will provide superior support to the HVAC dealer, therefore supporting our Sales Team's efforts in growing premier distributor. Support will be provided by phone, on-site and training events intended to improve the professional HVAC technician'sproficiency. The Technical Advisor will be an integralportionof the team's resource development and equipment innovation implementation. Essential Duties/Accountabilities Duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Providestechnical support by phone toWatscoSubsidiaries, Tradewinds Climate Systems' andthird-party supplier's dealers andsales professionals,and branch personnel. Conducton-site job visits when necessary. ConductsDealer Training forWatscoSubsidiary's, Tradewinds ClimateSystems'and Third Party's dealers. Maintainsregular contact with regional managers.These meetings should include discussion that assist in determining future training topics. Perform required duties with the ability to work supervised and independently, striving tomaintainexcellent time management skills. Maintain a personal and professional development plan. Lead the industry inproficiencyofnew technology, HVAC equipment and accessories by attending designated training provided by manufacturers and Baker Distributors. Develop andmaintainan appropriate expensebudget. Submit regular activity and expense reports, asappropriateand within specified time requirements. Monthly activity reportsare required tobesubmittedto the manager within10 daysof the last day of each month. Expense reportsare required tobesubmittedwithin15 daysof the end of each month willmaintainan accurateand updated digital calendar, shared with their manager. Perform other duties as assigned. And here is what you will need to be successful: Qualifications High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office Excellent oral,writtenand verbal communication skills Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Effectively multi-task andhave the ability tolearn quickly Licensing and Certifications: Valid driver license and/or CDL license Physical Demands and Work Environment: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Must be able tofrequentlylift upto 50 pounds. The employeefrequentlyis required tostandsit or walk, climb, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Ability to utilize a computer keyboard, computer monitor, and telephone for prolonged periods of time. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee may use equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks andotherwarehouse equipment.
