Role Overview: This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or individuals with some industry experience who are eager to enter the civil engineering field. The Junior Civil Engineer will be involved in a broad range of infrastructure projects, including the design of roadways, intersections, ADA curb ramps, parking facilities, pedestrian pathways, bridges, and transportation systems. The role offers extensive training and mentoring to ensure the successful candidate gains valuable experience and develops essential skills. Key Responsibilities: Assist in designing and analyzing infrastructure projects, such as roadways, intersections, ADA curb ramps, parking, pedestrian facilities, bridges, and public transportation systems. Prepare detailed engineering drawings, plans, and specifications using CAD software. Conduct site visits to gather data, monitor project progress, and ensure adherence to design specifications. Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to develop innovative solutions. Support the preparation of project reports, documentation, and presentations. Participate in project planning meetings and contribute to the development of timelines and budgets. Stay current with industry standards, regulations, and best practices through continuous learning. Candidate Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Basic knowledge of civil engineering principles, particularly in infrastructure and transportation. Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
