Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Primary classroom instructor for multiple accredited training courses relating to asbestos, lead, mold or health and safety Primary instructor for hands-on activities for all initial courses, customizing activities to meet client needs Provide course presentations utilizing PowerPoint, videos, Zoom and Teams video conferencing, and hands-on course activities and exercises Responsible for updating PowerPoint presentations, course design and development, creating course outlines, exams and other course materials Connect with students of varying education levels to ensure student success Apply environmental consulting industry knowledge to the classroom experience Deliver training across a range of client sectors including schools, universities, construction, manufacturing and utilities Project management activities including client communication and proposals; assisting with business development activities; collaborating with training manager, other trainers and all stakeholders who are responsible for ensuring course compliance with applicable regulatory requirements; QA/QC Communicate with state regulators, staff and clients, provide consulting services relating to training compliance needs Responsible for assisting with course scheduling of all instructors Maintain expert regulatory knowledge and field industry trends for a wide range of courses Travel to client sites, including overnight stays on a monthly basis Perform other related duties as needed Requirements Minimum Requirements: College degree or certificate in project planning, management, environmental sciences, engineering, construction, architecture, industrial hygiene, occupational health or a related science field preferred Field work experience may be substituted in lieu of education requirements. Professional safety and IH certifications recommended including (CSP, CIH, OSHA certified instructor) Fifteen or more years of industry experience in the environmental consulting field relating to asbestos, lead, mold or health and safety Ten or more years of experience providing training for adult educational programs Computer skills including Microsoft Word and PowerPoint Professional certifications including Asbestos Supervisor, Project Monitor, Asbestos Inspector, Lead Renovator, Lead Supervisor, Lead Inspector Technical Requirements: Adept at problem solving and decision making skills is required Adept at collaboration and teamwork desired Adept at growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills is desired Adept at execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills is strongly desired Adept at digital literacy skills are required Other Miscellaneous Qualities: Professional safety and IH certifications recommended including (CSP, CIH, OSHA certified instructor) Fifteen or more years of industry experience in the environmental consulting field relating to asbestos, lead, mold or health and safety Ten or more years of experience providing training for adult educational programs Computer skills including Microsoft Word and PowerPoint Professional certifications including Asbestos Supervisor, Project Monitor, Asbestos Inspector, Lead Renovator, Lead Supervisor, Lead Inspector Compensation: $47.50 Hourly The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the state's law.
