MAU is hiring a Plant Manager for our client in Lockland, OH. As a Plant Manager, you will report to the Senior Operations Director and oversee the daily operations of the Lockland facility. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient production, maintaining safety standards, and driving continuous improvement to meet organizational goals. This is a direct-hire opportunity. Benefits Package 401k Life insurance Health insurance Dental insurance Paid vacation Required Education and Experience Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of leadership experience in an industrial manufacturing environment OR 15+ years of industrial experience in a manufacturing leadership role General Requirements Proven track record of developing and executing manufacturing strategies that drive cost reductions and improve productivity in a high-demand customer environment Experience with P&L management and accountability Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems Strong understanding of quality management systems In-depth knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations and requirements Extensive experience leading complex manufacturing plants and driving transformational change Proven track record of implementing significant manufacturing improvements aligned with broader growth initiatives Ability to establish a highly adaptable and flexible manufacturing operation Demonstrates energy and passion for safety, people-oriented leadership, and fostering teamwork and collaboration Strong focus on promoting a winning mindset and positive organizational culture Preferred Requirements Prior experience in the chemical manufacturing industry Bachelor's degree in engineering, Operations Management, or a related field Lean Six Sigma certification Hands-on experience in a unionized work environment Proficiency with SAP ERP systems Experience working at ISO 9000 and NSF-certified sites Essential Functions Develop manufacturing operating plans aligned with company policies, goals, and objectives Ensure strong leadership and adherence to Safety, Health, and Environmental standards, reflecting the company's commitment to safety and community well-being Drive operational excellence and customer satisfaction by optimizing capacity, reducing costs, and enhancing delivery performance Achieve targeted cost and efficiency goals to maximize business unit value Optimize capital expenditures to support operations, deliver growth, and enhance value Promote continuous improvement utilizing methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma Execute quality and process excellence strategies, ensuring consistent quality control and feedback mechanisms Develop robust people development and succession plans to ensure a capable workforce Lead employee engagement efforts to improve satisfaction and retention Design and implement production systems that meet customer requirements Manage productivity and efficiency through metrics and continuous improvement processes Work Environment or Working Conditions The physical demands and working conditions described here represent those an employee must meet to perform the essential functions of the job successfully.
