DETAILS: Business Reporting Analyst COMPENSATION: Competitive Base + Bonus + Benefits on Day 1 This role provides key support to the Division CFO and encompasses a range of tasks, including reporting, business analytics/support, and M&A activities. It requires identifying opportunities, weaknesses, and trends, both globally and locally, and presenting findings and recommendations to senior management. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Reporting: Coordinate and review month-end closing procedures for the Division. Prepare monthly performance reporting and PowerPoint slides. Conduct deep dive analysis on specific topics as needed, such as trends and gaps. Support annual budget and midterm planning through various tasks including creating templates, monitoring timelines, and reviewing reporting packages. Contribute to forecasting exercises. Ensure accurate and meaningful reports using business intelligence tools. Respond to finance community queries. Projects/Business Support: Support or lead global or local projects, particularly in data gathering, analytics, process mapping, and standardization Analyze business processes and functions to identify improvement opportunities. Propose recommendations to drive significant impact. Provide support to North American businesses for structural questions and analysis. Play a key role in the S4 Hana ERP implementation project. M&A: Support global M&A activities by analyzing target financial reports, data sets, and due diligence documents (buy side). Assist in sell-side M&A projects by providing relevant and accurate data and documents. Convert insights gained into price driving factors for financial modeling. Support onboarding and divestment processes for realized M&A projects. Perform other assigned duties. Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance/Accounting or Business Administration. Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Financial Reporting or Business Analytics, preferably in an international group context. CPA/CMA certification preferred. Practical experience in M&A processes is a plus. Ability to work flexibly, including being on-call when necessary. Strong multitasking and time management skills.
