Civil Project Manager Department: Civil/Municipal Employment Type: Full Time Location: Cleveland, OH Description The Mannik & Smith Group, Inc. Due to MSG's continued growth, a new opening is available for a (position) to assist with our projects in (location)! Key Responsibilities • 10+ years of experience in managing municipal, residential and site engineering projects • The Senior Engineer/Project Manager will be responsible to define project objectives, prepare proposals, define project timelines, monitor project budgets and timelines • Responsible for reviewing and approving staff hours and project expenses, review project technical accuracy, ensure that all project tasks are completed, ensure that all bidding documents / specifications are prepared, perform Construction Administration of Municipal Projects • Proficient with reviewing plans submitted by outside design firms, communicate with management, clients and other staff, approve monthly invoices, and coach, mentor, and direct project team members • In addition, the Senior Engineer/Project Manager will be expected to assist the Designated Municipal Engineers by attending city meetings when requested, preparing cost estimates, preparing grant applications, and communicating with residents.
