Additional information can be Broad Function: Work in a multi-discipline team to design, analyze, test, qualify and manufacture RF and custom components. Interface with customer, specification review, identification of critical features and risk items, detailing the required level of analysis and risk reduction strategy, initial drawing for project definition with the customer, mechanical design and review work of designers/detailers, perform detailed analysis as required, support product qualification efforts and participate in component verification (First Article Inspection). Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Program, set up and operate automated manufacturing equipment. Continuous improvement of manufacturing process to improve yield and throughput. Create work instructions. Train production staff. Design experiments, perform testing, analyze data and conduct structured problem solving. Participate in design for manufacturability reviews. Perform finite element analysis studies. Review industry standard and customer specification requirements and ensure designs are compliant. Work concurrently with Project, RF, Process and Quality Engineers to optimize designs for performance and manufacturability. Generate reports and present at different design phases throughout product development. Participate in preliminary and critical design review phases of design. Produce procedural documents for mechanical analysis. Listen to and understand customer requirements and take prompt, appropriate action that exceeds expectations. Take personal ownership of internal and external customer issues and follow through to ensure a lasting service impression. Provide existing product line support in design activities, or of hardware in production. Conduct engineering studies and may assign work to technical drafting staff. Perform all other related duties as assigned. Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Familiar with 3D modeling and FEA packages, automated manufacturing and inspection tools. Ability to perform thermal, structural, and/or vibration analysis. Ability to design experiments, analyze the data and perform structured problem solving. Ability to interface with customers, process engineering and work effectively in a cross functional team. Must possess strong written communication skills to document technical specifications. Strong critical thinking and research skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Education/Experience: Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering 0-2 years relevant experience #LI-PG1 Compensation and Benefits: TTM offers a variety of health and well-being benefit programs. Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At TTM Technologies, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on each individual set of circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is: $55,449 - $92,415 Additional compensation: An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment. Positions hired for alternative shift may be eligible for a shift premium based on the assigned shift and location.
