Responsibilities Litigation Specialists are fully trained in the process of pre litigation intake, data entry, investigation and administrative tasks Manage personal injury cases from pre-litigation to litigation status Manage, maintain, and create professional relationships with diverse caseloads Maintain open communication with clients regarding their insurance status, medical treatment, and ongoing case status Manage coordination with clients' medical providers to ensure timely insurance processing of bills, coordination of clients' treatment, obtain medical records, negotiate provider bills Perform administrative duties: scheduling client for office visits, relevant doctor's appointments, and insurance carrier appointments (IMEs, EUOs, Recorded Statements, etc); organize both physical and digital files Report claims with insurance carriers, and send pre-litigation correspondence to all parties Assist attorneys in pre litigation case investigation Other managerial duties including but not limited to: Assist in Excel based data analysis and produce reports of project progress. Ability to work with databases, including adapting new software to improve current processes. Draft pleadings, motions, motion responses and e-file pending review of attorney Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs and appendices Aid attorneys and paralegals with discovery Coordinate service of pleadings and subpoenas on appropriate parties Provide assistance with case settlements Preserve an updated case record system Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate team members Requirements Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish (fluency in Spanish preferable) Superior time management and capability to multitask several time critical projects under tight deadlines Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Team oriented and independently capable A strong desire to expand knowledge of practice in personal injury law Qualifications Bachelor's Degree (preferred) or Certification/Associates Degree or 3 years of relevant experience At least 1 year experience in use of Case Management Software (Clio, FileVine, Needles, etc.) Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Etc.) and PDF conversion software Proficiency in use of court electronic filing systems (NJ e-Courts, Forthright, etc.) Benefits Health Insurance (Vision & Dental) A Paid Time Off Policy Free parking Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $55,000.00 - $58,000.00 Per Year
