Overview: Compensation: $20.00 - $29.00 based on experience and credentials Location Type: Hybrid a flexible work model blending in-office and remote working Position Type: Full Time Schedule: Monday through Friday 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM The Member Advisor provides financial solutions and counseling through outbound sales calls to members and prospective members. This individual presents Suncoast Credit Union lending products and services. Key responsibilities include initiating and underwriting consumer loans in accordance with lending policies and procedures. An ideal candidate provides professional, prompt, courteous, and accurate service with high regard for the confidentiality of members. Responsibilities: Sell Suncoast Credit Union products and services through outbound calls Initiate conversations and interview members to gather information necessary to complete consumer loan applications Determine and explain appropriate products to meet members' financial needs Answer questions about the loan process Provide a prompt, accurate, and excellent member experience Meet minimum monthly goals determined by management Implement daily and monthly adherence standards Input and process loan requests Decision loan requests within the lending authority Make recommendations on loan requests outside of the lending authority Assess loan applications for upselling or counter offers and process system approvals Generate new memberships by qualifying prospective members based on various campaigns and lead opportunities Support the business unit through creative communication, strategic follow-up, and pipeline management Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years of lending experience with a financial institution in a call center environment Outbound sales experience preferred Ability to prioritize tasks by effectively managing competing and changing priorities to meet required deadlines Accurate, detail-oriented, and organized with task management Ability to independently analyze and resolve complex situations to find effective solutions Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to interact with members, staff, vendors, and government regulators Ability to communicate practices, procedures, and policies to reach an agreement with others Skills Customer Service Networking Sales Safe Act Statement This position requires the employee to register as a mortgage loan originator with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS). The employee will obtain a unique identifier from the registry before engaging in mortgage loan originator activities. The employee must maintain and renew the registration on an annual basis, provide updated registration information with the registry on a timely basis, and provide a unique identifier to consumers as required by applicable SAFE Act regulations and Suncoast Credit Union policies and procedures.
