Job Description: Job Duties Strong knowledge of R or Python for building, implementing, and maintaining forecasting models. (e.g., forecast, prophet, statsmodels, scikit-learn). Familiarity with a variety of modeling techniques, including ARIMA, exponential smoothing, machine learning, or advanced algorithms. Advanced understanding of statistical methods, including regression analysis, time series analysis, and hypothesis testing. Ability to use statistical tools to evaluate model performance, identify trends, and assess accuracy Create and optimize complex SQL queries and Python scripts to extract, transform, clean, and aggregate data for reporting and analytics purposes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements, important covariates, and implement automated data pipelines. Ensure data quality and accuracy by implementing validation checks and error handling mechanisms. Automate and orchestrate ETL processes using PowerShell, scripts, and other technologies. Ability to communicate results to stakeholders through interactive dashboards, reports, and collaborative meetings Prioritize project tasks and handle scope changes while ensuring projects meet deadlines and business objectives. Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including data analysts, business leaders, and IT teams, to align project goals with business needs. Lead project teams, allocate resources, and track project progress using project management tools and methodologies. Maintain clear documentation of project plans, milestones, and outcomes to ensure effective communication and reporting. Job Qualifications: Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Math, Data Science, or related field. Master's degree in Statistics, Math, Data Science or related field preferred Previous implementation of forecasting models (e.g. ARIMA, boosted tree models, Prophet, machine learning models or other customized modeling) and statistical analysis. Proven expertise in SQL, with the ability to write complex queries Proficiency in Python and R for data manipulation, forecast model building, and statistical analysis. Experience with ETL processes and automation. Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) for automation. Familiarity with Google BigQuery or similar cloud-based data warehouses. Ability to deploy modeling to Cloud solutions a plus Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker Strong understanding of data governance and compliance standards. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams. Strong project management skills, including project planning, execution, and monitoring.
