About The Function Exciting Career Opportunity: Corporate Controller About Us: Join a legacy of excellence with our esteemed nationwide construction client, a prominent design/build, service, supplies, and renovations firm celebrating nearly 80 years of industry leadership. We're on the hunt for a visionary Corporate Controller to steer our Finance & Accounting Department and drive our financial strategies to new heights. Location: Warminster, PA (Hybrid Work Schedule) Why This Role is Perfect for You: As our Corporate Controller, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of our well-established company. Reporting directly to the CFO, you'll lead a dynamic team, oversee comprehensive financial operations, and ensure our financial activities align seamlessly with company objectives and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Strategy: Direct and elevate the Corporate Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Payable, and Cash Management functions. Provide actionable insights and strategic analysis to guide key investment and operational decisions. Financial Excellence: Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings, including audits and the preparation of financial statements. Ensure accurate and timely completion of tax filings and compliance with financial regulations. Process Improvement: Lead initiatives to enhance financial processes and controls. Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency while maintaining a positive and collaborative work environment. Risk Management: Develop and implement policies to mitigate financial risks and safeguard company assets. ERP Implementation: Spearhead the rollout of new ERP systems and keep the steering committee updated on progress. Treasury & Forecasting: Manage the company's treasury activities, including cash forecasting and balance sheet maintenance. What We're Looking For: Educational Background: a CPA and Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required. MBA is a plus. Industry Experience: Extensive experience in the construction industry is essential. Proven Track Record: At least ten years of progressive accounting management experience with a deep understanding of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and computerized accounting systems. Skills & Abilities: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a knack for creative financial management. Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with managers at all levels.
