Technical Manager

Position: Technical Manager Duration: 1 year contract, possibility to extend Location: Lisle, IL (Hybrid Tues/Wed 3rd day candidate can pick) Position Intel: They are going through a large digital transformation journey. Job Details: Technical Manager to assist in leading a team, put together a strategy, run team meetings, organize, etc. Team Environment: Will be corralling a team of 28 people, 10 are seated in the US the rest are offshore. This person will be working in tandem with Bart, a person for him to lean on. Skill Requirements: After sales area, their own Azure-based IOT platform They have on site and offshore model They had a tech manager to lead that 28-person group, 20k+ devices that report data Realtime 24/7, they took another role in the org Put together strategy, corral a team, run meetings (don't have to be hands on but need the knowledge and strategy) Understand what IOTt is and isn't Streaming data Leadership skills, especially over both on shore and offshore, 10 in US and the rest offshore Any experience with big data, someone who knows how to use data from data lake, analyzing/processing big data.
