The Undergraduate College of Arts & Sciences invites applications for a Curriculum and Enrollment Manager. This position will support the Assistant Director of Strategic Data Support and Assessment, and the entire Arts & Sciences Office of Undergraduate Education, to monitor the schedule of courses, academic space usage, enrollment processes, and related student data for over 11,000 undergraduate students within Arts & Sciences. Specific responsibilities include: Overseeing the College of Arts & Sciences course scheduling process, including coordinating with department schedulers, conducting audits, correcting schedule records, and ensuring compliance with College and University Registrar policies and priorities. Monitor and manage the use of academic space, including working with the Arts & Sciences Director of Space Planning and Management, Arts & Sciences Learning Design and Technology, and University Registrar to ensure academic space needs are resourced and utilized appropriately. Administer annual enrollment processes such as managing course reserve capacities, managing fall and spring pre-enrollment, helping special programs manage their registration and other processes, overseeing workflow for enrollment appointments, and conducting regular student enrollment audits. Support strategic planning and decision-making by providing analysis, creating reports, and answering ad hoc requests on matters related to scheduling, space usage, enrollment, and student data. Help administer Office of Undergraduate Education programs through the creation, management, and reporting of surveys; serve as a survey resource for the broader Arts & Sciences academic community. Participate in special projects, committees, or working groups where knowledge of space, schedule, enrollment, and student data is beneficial. Other duties and tasks as assigned. This position reports directly to the Assistant Director of Strategic Data Support and Assessment but will work closely with the entire Office of Undergraduate Education team. Moreover, this position will collaborate with other faculty and staff across and beyond the Undergraduate College of Arts & Sciences. Minimum Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree requirement. Experience: At least five years of experience. Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree preferred Experience working with students, staff, and faculty in a college or university setting Proficiency in Microsoft Office, advanced proficiency in Excel Experience using large datasets to answer questions and support decision-making. Proficient in survey design, delivery, and analysis, especially using tools such as Qualtrics. Elementary knowledge of statistics and quantitative analysis. Familiarity with quantitative and qualitative research methods. Experience with University systems such as SIS and UBI. Ability to plan, execute, and manage complex projects. Excellent communication and reporting skills, in particular working with different audiences and different levels of technical knowledge. The ideal candidate will be attentive to detail, analytical, process-minded, curious, a fast learner, and demonstrate a service-oriented mindset. This position is located in Charlottesville, VA. This is a hybrid position with some in-office days required each month. The anticipated start date is December 2024. The anticipated hiring range is $65,000+, commensurate with education and experience. This is an Exempt level, benefited position.
