How you will do it The activities that the intern would perform include: • Sample Preparations of ferrous and non-ferrous alloys. • Etching, polishing and microscopy of various metallic alloys . • Use of Image Analysis software for documenting and analyzing various microstructures. • EDS/SEM analysis of materials including imaging and spectral analysis. • Mechanical testing of materials. What we look for • Current Junior or Senior in a relevant Engineering field at an accredited university. • Candidates with a major in Materials Science or with strong background or experience in Materials preferred.
