Responsibilities Job Summary: Lead marketing strategic planning process and set the direction and priorities for the organization by owning the tactical process and coordinating with Marketing Leadership on execution and delivery. Leadership of a team of circa 12 marketing professionals focused on product marketing and Regional implementation Essential Functions & Accountabilities: Set the direction and priorities for the Marketing function Participate in the strategic planning process and identify opportunities, while driving Marketing agenda Collaborate with commercial leadership, business leadership, and other relevant stakeholders to drive Marketing strategy alignment and gather input and align with overarching business objectives Assessment of the market to effectively introduce portfolio into market, including business strategies, new product introductions, customer relationships opportunities and future product development input. Lead the development and execution of comprehensive global marketing strategies for our diverse product and service portfolio. Assess market opportunities to facilitate effective product introductions and promote portfolio growth. Lead cross-functional teams to deliver on business objectives Develop recommendations for effective execution of commercial objectives Standardize roles and responsibilities across regions and functions within the organization Work with analytics to identify and monitor metrics to quantify organization success Develop and implement differentiated positioning and communication strategies for CooperSurgical Fertility Solutions, in collaboration with the VP Marketing to ensure a cohesive overall positioning. Oversee product portfolio lifecycle management, including positioning, to drive profitable and sustainable growth. Provide insight into Voice of Customer priorities, based on KOL and field engagement, so that the organization is properly aligned. Able to work closely with Integrated Marketing services to ensure alignment and delivery of marketing plans Manage budgets effectively, optimizing marketing spend to maximize ROI, and promote a culture of marketing efficiency and impact. Drive marketing excellence in product and Regional marketing efforts. Build and cultivate a high-performing marketing team to execute strategies effectively. Monitor key metrics and objectives to inform business planning. Establish advertising and PR strategies to enhance brand visibility and promote both products and the company. Recruiting, hiring, and developing a staff of talented marketing professionals. Travel: Around 20% per year of international travel to ensure global alignment and connection Qualifications Qualifications Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: In depth knowledge and understanding of global Marketing Strong people leadership with the ability to bring a global team together to achieve aligned results Proven track record of making high-quality decisions based on analysis, experience, and judgment. Prior experience in leadership and mentoring roles within complex business environments. Able to identify the right marketing analytics, interpret and develop actionable insights Demonstrated ability to anticipate future consequences, create competitive strategies, and think strategically. International/Global experience Work Environment: Hybrid/Office based Role will require prolonged sitting in front of a computer Experience: 10+ years of successful experience in Medical, Med Tech, Consumer health, Pharmaceutical Marketing, Fertility with a minimum of 5 years leading a team Track record of building strong brands and businesses, ideally in both B2B and B2C contexts. Background in healthcare marketing is preferred, but experience in related industries is acceptable. Experience in large companies with a deep understanding of global markets and dynamics. Experience in managing a team of marketing professionals for a minimum of five years. Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or a related field is required.
