Inside the Role The ideal candidate for the Middleware Engineer role is a self-starter, able to take initiative and independently manage and process multiple projects for DTNA's IT business application and middleware integration. Furthermore, this position requires the candidate to provide technical guidance and direction to DTG's TAF partner, supplier, as well as DTNA's integration partner and supplier, in support of DTNA's business applications. We Take Care of Our Team Position offers a starting salary range of $82,000-104,500 USD Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience. What You Drive at DTNA Act as a technical liaison between IT Business and integration partners, Suppliers. Provide technical guidance and direction to both DTNA's Alpha Web Services and WBI support team, as well as the Web Services team at suppliers. Provide training and playbooks to assist the Supplier Alpha team and Supplier support teams Work with IT Business application owners in support of impending application changes and align with Suppliers. Work with and align with DTNA's Change Management team focusing on potential impact changes to IT Business applications. Knowledge You Should Bring Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, plus 2-4 years of relevant experience, or 6 years of relevant experience in related field. Extensive knowledge and expertise in Web Services, Middleware, LTM and SOA API technologies. Strong leadership skills in leading and troubleshooting complex technical issues with offshore and local teams, facilitating communication, identifying root causes, enforcing SLAs, driving continuous improvement in process and workflows, and implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime and maintain business continuity. Skilled in architecture, design, and implementation of middleware solutions for complex business applications including integration frameworks, message queues, and Enterprise Service Bus(s) to enable seamless communication and data exchange across disparate systems. Strong experience in implementing security, scalability, and identifying/following the best practices for Web Services and Middleware systems including encryption, load balancing, and caching. Proficient in designing and implementing monitoring/alerting solutions for web and middleware systems including log management, performance monitoring and system health checks. Focused on providing exceptional customer support by delivering timely updates/resolutions and going above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. Skilled in writing technical documentation and playbooks including system diagrams to facilitate technical knowledge of DTNA's business applications. An attached resume is required.
