DEPARTMENT : Accessibility Services SUPERVISOR : EJ Chen EXTENSION : 5509 Job description The Peer Note Taker position provides class notes to eligible students registered with Accessibility Services. Duties and responsibilities A note taker's responsibility is to take copious notes during class time and then upload quality class notes from your course on the same day (within 12 hours of the end of the class). In addition, students submit a timesheet once a week, an hour after the last class of the week. If you are unable to attend class, you are responsible for finding a substitute. Qualifications Excellent listening skills Neat handwriting (if a laptop is not permitted in class) Excellent typing and computer skills Other All employees of Babson College, including note takers, are expected to uphold the college's core values, including ethical work practice, such as submitting timesheets that reflect time worked. For example, note takers should not submit time when they do not take notes- class projects, quizzes, exams, class canceled, etc. We will extend an offer to the first qualified candidate. This position will not begin until you see this position in your Workday account, and you may not start until this is confirmed.
