Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Cath Lab Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12-Hour Day (06:30 - 19:00) Guaranteed Hours: Client may call off up to 36 hours per thirteen-week assignment without payment for the canceled hours. Experience: Minimum 1 year required; 18 months preferred License: Active IL license required Certifications: ACLS and BLS required Must-Have: - Interventional Cardiac Cath lab experience- Cerner experience required- Required Cardiac Cath Lab Procedure Experience- Required Medication Experience in Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring- Required Professional Skills including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias and monitoring procedural sedation Job Description: - Open to first-time applicants- Will work 2-3 weekends per contract- On-call work is required as needed- Clinician may float within their scope to meet facility needs- Open to accommodating block schedule; discuss requests with manager- RTO Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days- Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays- Experience required in circulate procedures, diagnostic catheterizations (adult), left heart catheterization, pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring, right heart catheterization- Complete orientation of 16 hours- Modules completed virtually on the first day by EOD, then annuallyThis position involves working within an acute care hospital setting, which is a Level I trauma center and a magnet facility with 562 staffed beds. Candidates will experience working in a 5-room unit with an average daily census of 25, ensuring exposure to varied clinical cases and procedures.
