The primary function of the Associate Analyst, Revenue Operations is to effectively assist in production and collections. This individual works closely with regional analysts, ROC division leaders, and operations managers to assist with action plans developed for opportunities identified. The Associate Analyst, Revenue Operations supports data driven insights through metrics and reporting. This position is proactive in its efforts to ensure insurance companies are billed correctly and promptly, as well as receivables are collected effectively in each office. Responsibilities Assist regional analysts to maximize office collections, communicate issues and implement guidelines/parameters to improve processes. Analyze various internal and external reports performing root cause analytics locating opportunities within RCM (revenue cycle management) processes, field operations, or insurance carrier trends thus maximizing office collections. Identify strategic and operational solutions for RM's and OM's to increase first pass claim payments. Analyze all RCM processes including insurance claim reports to identify issues, communicate, and collaborate across teams to resolve. Analyze the AR Metrics to identify offices that need training or billing process improvements. Analyze Explanation of Benefits (EOB) statements and adjust accounts according to PDS claims processing criteria. Identify necessary adjustments to accounts and use negotiation skills to obtain claims approval and payment information from various carriers. Perform auditing activities to research patient payment trends and determine the best options for the office to learn and provide their patients. Monitor work queue volume and trends and communicate findings to regional management and territory managers. Participate in continued education growing analytical and technical skill sets to deliver insights that inform business decisions. Build business acumen through observation and learning opportunities becoming a subject matter expert in a variety of ROC functions. Other duties as assigned by management. Required Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field. In lieu of degree, 1+ years of claims auditing or related experience is required. Experience working in Epic Systems. Strong computer and data entry skills with competent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel software applications. Preferred Previous Operation Management experience in with a retail store or medical/dental practice. Insurance Claims Auditing experience. Strong presentation skills, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
