Job Type Part-time Description Responsible for performing the necessary functions to support and maintain North Jersey Federal Credit Union's regulatory, legal, and policy compliance. Analyzes the impact of any new laws and regulations, or amendments to existing regulations, on current operations and new products and services. Clearly communicates such impact to the department leads under the direction of the Compliance Officer. Assists with the review of all company forms, disclosures, member publications, advertisements, and the website to ensure compliance with regulations. Assists with the implementation of a comprehensive compliance program to ensure conformity with federal and state laws and help coordinate compliance audits and organization examinations. Acts as a resource to personnel for questions regarding regulatory issues. Assists with the monitoring of compliance-related procedures and performing audits to ensure procedures are followed and forms are being used properly. Supports making the information necessary to complete external compliance examinations available. Perform BSA reporting including daily, bi-weekly, and monthly reporting. May perform the review of system programming/software changes and provide input as to the effect the change has on compliance. Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control. Requirements Experience - Three or more years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience. Retail banking experience preferred. Audit background a plus. Compliance certifications a plus. Education/Certifications/Licenses - High school diploma or GED or higher. People Skills - Must have excellent communication skills (including verbal and written), research skills, self-motivated, pay close attention to detail and work well independently and in group settings. Must be flexible and manage multiple assignments simultaneously. Expected to be open to learning and engaging with other departments. Technical Skills - Working knowledge Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word). Salary Description $22.00 per hour
