Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 per year As a Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in financial reporting, general ledger management, and budgeting. You will assist in preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP, and analyze financial data to provide valuable insights for management decision-making. You will also help maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, and ensure accurate transaction recording. Additionally, you will assist with the preparation of annual budgets, monitor and report on financial variances, and collaborate with department heads to ensure budget compliance. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with internal controls and external regulations, including SOX compliance, and develop policies to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency. In addition, you will supervise and support accounts payable and receivable processes, manage tax compliance, and guide junior accounting staff, offering training and leadership. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification is preferred. Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a senior accountant role. Experience in manufacturing is a plus. Strong understanding of GAAP, cost accounting, and financial reporting requirements. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Stone Edge, NetSuite). Expertise in MS Office, particularly MS Excel. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to resolve discrepancies. Professional conflict resolution skills and team-oriented mindset. Ability to think like an owner and take initiative.
