POSITION SUMMARY The Assistant Director of Graduate Admission will play a vital role in the recruitment and enrollment of graduate students at Le Moyne College. This role serves as a primary point of contact for prospective students to a diverse suite of programs including master's degrees in business, education, arts administration, physician assistant studies, occupational therapy, and nursing; as well as doctoral programs in nursing and executive leadership. The selected candidate will have academic programs of primary focus, but will need to be adaptable to serve as a representative for all graduate programs as needed. As a leader within the Enrollment Management team, the Assistant Director will work closely with offices including Marketing and Communications, Enrollment Marketing, and Central Processing to design, implement and assess successful marketing efforts, recruitment strategies and maintain data integrity. The ideal candidate will have a deep commitment to student success, a commitment to working with applicants from diverse backgrounds and competencies to navigate technologies used to support student recruitment and enrollment. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Job duties specific to this position: To work effectively with the Director of Graduate Admission and Division of Enrollment Management teams by participating as an active member of a professional admission team to design, develop and implement successful marketing and recruitment strategies and plans. Successfully manage specific applicant pools by planning and implementing marketing and recruitment activities as appropriate. This will include some local travel and minimal overnight travel. Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective students and applicants to include email, telephone and video call outreach. Serve as a liaison between students and key faculty partners regarding the admissions process. Communicate regularly with faculty, department chairs and other offices regarding enrollment responsibilities. Participate in the review of applications for certain graduate programs including review of prerequisite coursework, evaluation of application materials, participation in admission interviews and, where appropriate, rendering final admission decisions. Provide pre-admission consultations for applicants seeking information or guidance in the admission process. Plan and host on campus and virtual recruitment and accepted student programs for assigned graduate programs. Maximize opportunities for students, parents and counselors regarding the college admission process and access to Le Moyne College. Participate in admission events when necessary (information sessions, open house, accepted student events and interviews) to support College enrollment efforts. Performs a variety of related duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required Minimum of 3 years of experience in higher education (preferably in admissions/enrollment, registration, academic advising or related student support area), marketing, sales or other related educational support areas. Candidates with previous professional backgrounds in any of our current graduate level programs will also be considered. Candidates who hold experience with student information systems, customer relationship management (CRM) software(s), database management and/or basic marketing tools are preferred. Applicants without these qualifications should demonstrate an ability to adapt to technologies quickly and a desire to learn these skills through this position.
