Job Summary: The Senior Systems Analyst is responsible for the design, configuration, and support of enterprise systems, ensuring they meet organizational requirements. This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, technical teams, and end users to gather requirements, design efficient system solutions, and ensure smooth operations. A strong background in systems analysis and SQL or other data coding languages is essential, as the Senior Systems Analyst will also handle database management and data integration tasks. This position is 2 days remote per week after initial training. Responsibilities: 1. Systems Design and Configuration: System Design: Analyze business processes and translate them into technical specifications for system solutions. Develop system designs that meet business needs while ensuring scalability and efficiency. Configuration: Configure enterprise systems based on defined requirements, ensuring proper system functionality, performance, and user accessibility. Custom Development: Work with developers or directly develop system enhancements, integrations, and automations using SQL or other data coding languages. 2. Systems Support and Troubleshooting: Technical Support: Provide advanced technical support for system issues, working with IT and business teams to resolve problems quickly and effectively. System Maintenance: Manage system updates, upgrades, and patches to ensure the reliability and security of business applications. Monitoring & Performance: Monitor system performance and optimize configurations to enhance system speed, efficiency, and reliability. 3. Database and Data Management: SQL/Data Coding: Develop and maintain SQL queries and scripts for data extraction, reporting, and system integration. Leverage SQL for troubleshooting data-related issues. Data Integrity: Ensure data integrity and accuracy across systems by developing and managing data validation and quality processes. Reporting: Create ad hoc and recurring reports based on stakeholder needs, utilizing SQL or other database tools. 4. Business Analysis and Collaboration: Requirement Gathering: Work closely with business users and stakeholders to understand their requirements, identify gaps, and recommend solutions to improve system functionality. Process Improvement: Propose and implement system improvements to enhance productivity and streamline processes. Documentation: Create and maintain system documentation, including design specifications, process flows, and user guides for system configuration and operations. 5. System Integrations: Integration Projects: Collaborate with development teams to integrate systems with other internal and external applications, ensuring data flow and communication across platforms.
