About the job Lead Systems Administrator (TS/SCI w/ CI Poly) Northwest Talent Solutions is a leading Technology, Finance, and Healthcare staffing/recruiting and HR/DEI consulting firm partnering with outstanding clients within the private industry and public sector. Currently, we are partnered with a preferred client in the Aerospace/Aviation/Defense industry in search of a highly talented Lead Systems Administrator. Job Summary: The Lead Systems Administrator will be responsible for configuring, monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Redhat/Oracle Linux systems (physical and virtual) while implementing and maintaining security controls in compliance with DoD security frameworks. This role requires experience with infrastructure automation, CI/CD processes, and DevSecOps tools. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Configure, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot Redhat/Oracle Linux systems Deploy infrastructure through automation Implement and maintain security controls compliant with DoD frameworks Utilize CI/CD, agile system development, and DevSecOps tools and processes Automate Linux using Kickstart, Podman, Ansible, and Puppet Integrate Linux and Windows systems in a unified Active Directory Domain Create and use containers in Linux and Windows environments Customize, optimize, and troubleshoot enterprise-level applications Perform security administration in support of RMF requirements Integrate RMF principles into ground-up builds Work with continuous integration, build management, and automated test frameworks Use and create LDAP for Windows and Linux IDM Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years of relevant experience, or Graduate Degree and minimum 7 years of relevant experience, or Minimum of 13 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level 2 certification (e.g., Security+) Active TS/SCI with CI poly clearance Experience with testing applications such as Jenkins, Jira, and Bitbucket Must be able to work onsite Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Strong knowledge of Redhat/Oracle Linux systems administration Proficiency in infrastructure automation and DevSecOps practices Familiarity with DoD security frameworks and RMF requirements Experience with CI/CD processes and tools Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Preferred Additional Skills: Current Linux Certifications (e.g., RedHat RHCSA or RHCE, CompTIA Linux+) Experience with IT tools for managing complex computer networks Previous experience supporting DoD & IC Government customers Hardware/software requirement verification/system validation experience Experience with virtualization (KVM), backup technologies (NAS, SAN, iSCSI, SAS) Experience integrating and administering cross-domain systems Familiarity with microservices and containers (e.g., Docker) For confidential, immediate consideration, please apply with a formal copy of your resume along with your salary expectations.
