This position is located out of our Corporate Office in Clayton, North Carolina. Thalle, established in 1947, is a heavy civil construction company with a corporate office in Hillsborough, NC and a regional office in Alvarado, Texas. Regional Office Location : Clayton, North Carolina Job Title: Pipe Utility Foreman Salary: Competitive compensation package. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Identify and schedule each component of the plan and assign appropriate manpower and equipment to each activity daily. Meet with teammates daily to communicate personal daily activities clearly and effectively. Coordinate with and direct the activity of all jobsite crews, subcontractors and material and equipment providers, effectively interface with clients, inspectors, and regulatory representatives and other necessary individuals or organizations. Accurately report all jobsite time and activity, review performance-to-plan with Project Engineer and or Project Manager to adjust the following day's assignments, resources, and schedules. Monitor all job site activity and make adjustments in assignments as necessary for the master plan, schedule, and budget. Work from contract documents, project plans, and schedules and other relevant information to create a weekly/daily project work plans. Conduct work with 100% integrity and professionalism. Other duties as assigned. Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to review and understand plans, specifications, and drawings. Ability to meet deadlines. Minimum 5-10 years of experience in a field environment . Proficient in written and verbal business communications skills. Ability to give and receive written or oral instructions. Establish and maintain effective working relationship with office and field personnel. Strong organizational skills. Ability to work well under pressure. Physical Requirements: Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone.
