Full-time, 5 days per week (11 AM until dinner service concludes, with some flexibility). The Role: A High Net Worth (HNW) couple based in Port Ewing, NY, is seeking an experienced Private Chef to join their household. This is a unique opportunity for a talented chef who can provide exceptional culinary service for an intimate, luxury dining experience and impress high-profile guests. The family spends approximately six months in New York, with the other half of the year spent on the West Coast. During their time in New York, the Private Chef will be responsible for preparing all meals and catering to both everyday family dining and larger weekly gatherings with guests.The ideal candidate will be a polished, professional chef who can work in a discreet, family-centered environment.Primary Job Functions:Prepare breakfast (in advance), lunch, and dinner for the family when they are in residence (approximately six months a year). Provide high-end, nutritious, and beautifully presented meals that meet the family's preferences and dietary needs.Plan, prepare, and execute meals for weekly dinner parties with guests, ensuring an elevated dining experience for high-profile attendees.Create seasonal, varied menus that highlight local ingredients and showcase a wide range of culinary techniques and styles.Manage all aspects of ingredient procurement, including ordering and working with local farmers, specialty markets, and suppliers.Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen.
