A recognized pharmaceutical company in Pennsylvania is currently seeking a new Medical IT Systems Analyst to join their Medical Affairs team in the Greater Philadelphia area on a contract basis. In this role, the Medical IT Systems Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and optimization of the company's Veeva implementations tailored specifically to Medical Affairs activities. Responsibilities:Maintain, and provide ongoing support for Veeva CRM, specifically designed to meet the needs of Medical Affairs teams.Manage user roles, permissions, and security settings within Veeva CRM for MSLs, Medical Information Specialists, and other Medical Affairs professionals.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Veeva CRM functionality, including integrations and data quality, with a focus on Medical Affairs activities.Collaborate with Medical Affairs and IT teams to gather and analyze requirements and design tailored Veeva CRM workflows that optimize field medical team activities.Identify and implement improvements in Medical Affairs processes, ensuring better efficiency in capturing key interactions, medical insights, and HCP engagements.Lead or assist in Medical Affairs-specific projects, such as enhancing CRM functionalities for Health care professional engagement and medical content dissemination.Oversee and manage system integrations between Veeva CRM and other platforms relevant to Medical Affairs, such as medical content management systems, compliance reporting tools and expense management (e.g., Concur).Ensure data integrity across systems and facilitate seamless data exchange between Veeva CRM and other platforms.Support reporting, including the accurate capture of HCP interactions, leave behinds, and medical discussions in CRM.Support Medical Affairs compliance initiatives by ensuring proper documentation and adherence to regulatory requirements for HCP engagements.Collaborate with Compliance and Legal teams to ensure transparency reporting via integration between Veeva CRM and other systems used for Sunshine Act reportingDevelop and deliver training materials for Medical Affairs teams, ensuring effective use of Veeva CRMMaintain detailed documentation of Veeva CRM processes, workflows, configurations, and best practices for Medical AffairsQualifications:3+ years of experience in systems analysis or CRM administration, with a specific focus on Veeva CRM in a Medical Affairs settingBachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or a related fieldStrong understanding of Medical Affairs workflows, including HCP engagement, medical insights capture, and medical content disseminationFamiliarity with compliance and transparency reporting in the pharmaceutical or biotech industries (e.g., Sunshine Act)Experience with system integration and data managementKnowledge of pharmaceutical industry regulations and guidelinesFamiliarity with SQL, data analysis, and CRM configuration and software lifecycle managementStrong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with Medical Affairs, IT, and Compliance teamsAnalytical mindset with attention to detailAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
