KBR is looking for a CSE - Lead Engineer that will be responsible for the technical and operation leadership of the process control system scope including DCS, Telecommunications, Instrumentation, and Process Analyzer for an Offshore engineering project. Functional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Responsible for compliance with Safety, Health and Environmental plan; must be committed to a high standard of safety and be willing and able to comply with all safety laws and all of the Company's safety policies and rules and must be willing to report safety violations and potential safety violations to appropriate supervisory or management personnelResponsible for compliance with the Quality Assurance Plan, policies and proceduresDevelop and maintain sustaining engineering plansDrive multiple projects in various stages of project execution, from development to execution, with an eye for managing cost, scope, schedule, and internal reporting requirementsUse strong organizational savvy and relationship building skills to influence both internal and external resources, producing tangible resultsWork with internal and external engineering resources to develop the required deliverables for the Engineering Stage Gate Process (FEED, FEL)Under broad direction, this individual has the responsibility, accountability, and authority to manage the execution of the engineering design in accordance with applicable specifications and standards in order to achieve project objectivesAssures projects meet project objectives (including cost, schedule, and scope) by managing the development, design, and execution of assigned projects in accordance with specifications and standardsEnsures accurate cost budgeting, estimating, forecasting, and reporting of assigned projectsProvides clear, accurate scopes of work and construction packages including documentationAnalyzes and manages risks on projectsFacilitates safety and constructability reviewsCreates requisitions for engineered items and development of spare parts listReports on cost (including forecasting) and schedule attainmentCommunicates and resolves technical and commercial issues as related to project objectivesSuccessfully communicates with leadership, engineers, designers, document control, procurement, project controls, and all other departmentsEnsures all project documentation is completedDefines and documents CSE Scope of WorkPrepare vendor competitive analysisDevelops Process Control NarrativesCreate IO listsAssist with FAT and SAT when neededPotentially support Commissioning and Start-Up ActivitiesMay require travel to site (~25-35%)Required Education, Experience, & Skills:EDUCATION: 4-year Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering preferred)5+ years of offshore experience required5+ years of industrial refining, petrochemical, or heavy industries experience5+ years of experience in technical control systems leadershipTotal Minimum 15 years of experienceExperience developing process control specifications and control system designExperience leading initiatives and managing suppliers10+ years of Demonstrated Experience in Process Control Systems: DCS, PLC, SIS, BMS (preferably Emerson DeltaV, Honeywell Experion and TDC3000, Yokogawa, Siemens, Rockwell ControlLogix and PlantPAx) 5+ years of Demonstrated Experience with Network Architectures: DCS, PLC, SIS, BMSDemonstrated Experience in InstrumentationExperience with electrical schematic drawings, logic diagrams, and panel schedulesParticipation in Factory Acceptance Test for DCS, PLC, and SIS5+ years of Hands on programming experience in an operational environmentDeveloped Cause & Effect Diagrams5+ years of Development of Process Control NarrativesCreated IO Lists (preferably with SPI or AVEVA)Clear understanding of Off-Shore Standards and Requirements as it relates to process control systemsKnowledge of and exposure to telecoms, cyber security, and process analyzer engineering.Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with team members, clients, and stakeholders.Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing project challenges.Attention to detail and the ability to ensure project documentation is accurate and up to date.
