Financial Controller

OPPORTUNITYOur client is a quickly growing document management company with a national focus. The Controller is a key financial leader responsible for managing accounting operations and ensuring financial accuracy and compliance. The primary focus is to support precise financial management and reporting, particularly in the context of long-term projects and establishing KPI's. The Controller will also assist with cashflow management and other strategic initiatives.SCOPE OF WORKUtilize current software packages for invoice approvals, spreadsheets, and database management.Lead the annual audit processManage vendor relationships, including IT and HRLead invoice, billing, and collections effortsPrepare and enter journal entries as needed.Prepare reconciliations for balance sheet accountsPrepare and submit sales tax schedules and ensure compliance with sales tax reporting.Maintain sales commission records and prepare associated reports.Oversee preparation of year-end 1099 forms.Understand the process for preparing, receiving, and invoicing purchase orders.Monitor internal control processes,Prepare financial or operational analyses as requested.Follow other job-related procedures and perform other tasks as requested.Participate in special projects as required.IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE4-year Accounting Degree.
