ResponsibilitiesAs part of the CIB Global Trade Finance Solutions team, the successful candidate will be responsible for origination and structuring of Structured Trade Finance Solutions, such as prepayments, contract monetization, inventory finance, borrowing base...). The successful candidate will have principal responsibilities comprising the following: Originate and structure trade finance transactions, offering to BBVA clients a wide range of trade finance products and structured solutions. Analysis of transactions (feasibility, risks); identification of key issues and proposal of improvements to achieve successful financing.Actively engage with the GTB Distribution team to enable the Bank to originate and distribute Structured Trade Finance Transactions. Job RequirementsDeep knowledge and expertise on structured trade finance products such as prepayments, inventory finance, borrowing base facilities and contract monetization.Six to ten years of relevant experience in a Structured Trade Finance or Commodity Trade Finance Department or a comparable background in investment banking or other industry.Proven experience in winning and executing large scale mandates andor lead arranging positionsBusiness SchoolUniversity degree in economics or business administration, law, or engineeringExperience of working in an international environmentFluency in English, and Spanish (preferable)Personal:-Structured and organized; strong analytical skills -Well balanced team player-International mindset -Goal oriented individual with initiative and leadership-Client focus-Lateral thinker who likes to come up with outside-the-box-solutions All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.With respect to this position in our New York Office, the expected base salary ranges from $150,000 to $200,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.*Employment eligibility to work with BBVA in the U.S. is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for these positions
