Come be a part of our mission!Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Linthicum, MD is seeking a Space Assembly Integration Lead to support the mechanical assembly and inspection of Electronically Scanned Array (ESA) antennas for a production Space Payload program.Responsibilities IncludeSetting daily direction for 6 Engineering TechniciansReporting daily statusExecuting on program-directed priority and schedule needsCoordinating with Quality EngineeringMission Assurance (QEMA), Inspection, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Program Manager (OPM), and Production PlannerThis position is on-site in a classified, high bay cleanroom at our Maryland Space Assembly and Test (MSAT) facility adjacent to the BWI Airport in LinthicumBaltimore, Maryland.This position can be staffed at a Principal or Sr. Principal level based on the Basic Qualifications below.Basic QualificationsPrincipal Engineer: BS in STEM with 5 years relevant experience or 3 years with MSSr. Principal Engineer: BS in STEM with 8 years relevant experience or 6 years with MSMust have an active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI approvalaccess.Mechanical assembly of flight hardware experiencePeople leadership, scheduling, and tasking experiencePreferred QualificationsElectronically Scanned Array (ESA) antenna assembly experienceSpace SensorPayload assembly experienceCleanroom procedures experienceBS in Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace EngineeringSalary Range: $102,400 - $153,600The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
