POSITION SUMMARY Slick Rock Tanning & Spa is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to drive brand growth and market presence by developing and executing innovative marketing strategies that enhance customer engagement, attract new clients, and boost membership sales. The Marketing Manager will lead omnipresent marketing campaigns across paid media, client engagement initiatives, events, and in-store promotions, ensuring consistent messaging and high-impact results across all channels and locations. The goal is to elevate the brand's visibility, attract and convert new clients, increase membership enrollments, and foster customer loyalty through strategic planning, creative execution, and data-driven decision-making. PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES Utilize an omnichannel approach to drive new client acquisition, membership upgrades, and revenue growth from existing clients across multiple store locations Drive a measurable increase in new client acquisitions, with specific targets set for new leads, client sign-ups and new memberships through various digital marketing channels Analyze client data and feedback to create personalized marketing initiatives that resonate with current customers Plan and execute local events, promotions, and partnerships to increase brand visibility and attract foot traffic to the salons Engage with the community and leverage local advertising channels to drive interest and brand loyalty Develop and execute automated nurture campaigns to guide leads through the sales funnel and drive conversions Use CRM and marketing automation tools to track lead interactions, segment audiences, and optimize campaign performance Achieve a specific return on investment (ROI) for paid media campaigns, ensuring that advertising spend is optimized for maximum impact and cost-efficiency. Track and assess the effectiveness of marketing strategies through key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting tools Provide regular, detailed reports on campaign performance, client acquisition, and membership sales, with actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement KEY COMPETENCIES Above average oral and written communication skills, including high proficiency in all MS Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint Working experience with creative software: Illustrator, Canva, ChatGPT, Google Workspace Competency in marketing automation and CRM, preferably Hubspot Previous marketing experience required Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining a positive attitude Ability to think critically, in order to develop and assess marketing materials Outstanding organization and administrative skills Ability to demonstrate independent thinking as well as a teamwork approach to job responsibilities Experience with digital platforms, social media and content marketing QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, with a proven track record in driving client acquisition, membership growth, and revenue increase in a similar industry or retail environment Familiarity with the wellness, tanning, or beauty industry is preferred, with a strong understanding of market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape Expertise in developing and executing omnichannel marketing strategies, including digital marketing, social media management, email marketing, and content creation Proficiency in managing lead workflows, creating automated nurture campaigns, and utilizing CRM and marketing automation tools Strong analytical skills with experience in tracking, measuring, and optimizing marketing performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting tools Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling marketing materials and engage with diverse audiences Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field or equivalent experience A genuine interest in wellness, beauty, or self-care is desired Alignment with Slick Rock Tanning & Spa's mission to enhance clients' self-esteem and well-being PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer Position may require travel: Up to 10% Requires ability to occasionally lift up to 25lbs Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential requirements COMMITMENT TO DIVERSITY As an equal opportunity employer committed to meeting the needs of a multigenerational and multicultural workforce, Slick Rock recognizes that a diverse staff, reflective of our community, is an integral and welcome part of a successful and ethical business.
