Benefits and Perks include: Affordable Medical/Dental/Vision insurance options Generous paid time-off program and paid holidays for full time staff TeleDoc 24/7/365 access to doctors Optional short- and long-term disability plans Employee Assistance Plan (EAP) 401K retirement accounts Employee Referral Bonus Program Essential Functions: To perform this job, an individual must perform each essential function satisfactorily with or without a reasonable accommodation •Answer incoming phone calls •Generate reports out of various pharmacy software applications for balancing and reconciliation purposes •Answer overflow switchboard phone calls as needed •Assist with other accounting function as needed and assigned •Communicate information effectively to supervisor and others in a timely matter •Maintain proficiency with computer systems •Effectively demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness and continually strives to improve quality standards •Maintain confidentiality of work-related information and materials in compliance with HIPAA regulations •Adhere to the principles of the Employee Standards and Code of Conduct and reports any violations •Knowledgeable and compliant with current company policies and procedures and state and federal regulations •Attend meetings and in-services as required •3rd Party/Facility Reconciliation •Download 835's from Net-RX and reconciles remittances •Generates Mis-Matched Payment Report and retro any claims in Framework •Maintain and reconcile third party aging •Record EFT payments •Reconcile internal transfers •Private Reconciliation & Deposit •Open, date, sort and distribute mail as needed •Process daily deposit •Review pre-billing for facility and private prior to month-end billing process •Facilitate TN Care billing status updates •Review Medicaid eligibility monthly and correct as needed •Review private statements for accuracy and distribution to responsible party •Assist responsible party with private billing issues/concerns •Facilitate unresolved issues in private accounts, requesting refunds or write-offs when necessary •Maintain and reconcile facility and private aging •Distribute CMS required pharmacy notice to responsible parties indicating non-formulary medications for Medicare Part D •Identify residents who are eligible for Medicare Part D plans and contact nursing facility staff or responsible party and notify of eligibility •Billing •Receive daily intercompany mail; sort, distribute, scan and properly associate documents in document management software •Generate reports via daily nursing facility EHR to verify and update census and payor information in pharmacy dispensing software •Generate reports daily from pharmacy dispensing software and update billing information •Maintain invoice groups for each prescription to reflect accurately on facility statement •Request and enter hospice profiles into pharmacy dispensing software to ensure accurate billing •Communicate with pharmacist, facilities, physicians, third party payers and responsible parties to resolve all billing issues •Review reconcile, and input billing prescriptions associated with back-up pharmacy charges, night box charges and miscellaneous charges •Responsible for daily rejections and posting end of day billing batches •Report errors to quality assurance for resolution •Obtain weekly enteral supplement and house stock order •Generate weekly non-cycle refill reports for nursing facilities •Other duties as assigned Required Skills: •Must possess required skills and be able to explain and demonstrate, with or without reasonable accommodations, that the essential functions of the job can beperformed •Effectively using organizational and planning skills with attention to detail and follow through Required Work Experience: •Two (2) to three (3) years of pharmacy or healthcare accounting or billing experience Licensing/Certification/Education Requirements: •High school diploma or general education degree (GED) •Current Pharmacy Technician Registration (Preferred) Other Requirements: •Position may require unscheduled overtime, week-end work. •Must be willing and able to work flexible hours Computer Software/Equipment Used: •Framework LTC Software System •DocuTrack Software System •Accpac Accounting Software •Standard Office Equipment •Computer EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER This Organization is an equal opportunity employer.
