We are seeking a motivated and talented hands-on Operations Manager to join our team and contribute to the success and growth of our business. Job Summary: As the Operations Manager you will be accountable for the end-to-end Production and Quality of the Accu-Fab business. The production areas include raw material, laser/punch/debur, form, hardware insertion and assembly. The primary responsibilities of this role include ensuring employee safety, maintaining site security, facility maintenance, ensuring quality production standards, and focusing on on-time delivery of products. This position will lead the team for efficient production and active and ongoing continuous improvement. Requirements: 7+ Years of manufacturing leadership Experience with hands-on coaching using lean manufacturing as a guide Ability to communicate in English and Spanish. Ability to efficiently work with the ERP and Microsoft office applications. Fabrication experience is a plus Responsibilities: Employee Safety: Eliminate unsafe conditions. Eliminate unsafe actions. Document safety standards and ensure that they are known and followed by all employees. Proactively focus on gathering observations and creating corrective actions to prevent a near miss or injury Coaching - Daily Loop 1 & Loop 2 Meetings: Coach the area supervisors for effective and efficient loop 1 meetings at the beginning of the shift every daily. The meeting must include safety, quality and delivery items. The meeting should include continuous improvement, production efficiency and attendance. Production and Quality: Oversee all production activities to meet quality standards and customer specifications. Utilize visual work instructions to ensure quality standards are known and followed. Define, measure, analyze, improve and control production efficiency for all areas Ensure the ERP production data is clean Utilize Guidewheel machine monitoring to sustain and improve machine utilization TPM and Facilities Management Create and improve TPM visual work instructions and utilize process confirmation to ensure PM is completed. Keep all machines operational - If it is broken, fix it Maintain the facilities for safe and efficient production On-time Delivery: Ensure adherence to process start dates via the production schedules to meet customer delivery expectations. Anticipate potential delays or bottlenecks and proactively address them to minimize disruptions and maintain on-time delivery. Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of hourly manufacturing employees, providing guidance and support as needed. Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement. The ability to adapt to changing circumstances, such as shifts in production schedules or unexpected issues, is important for a production supervisor. Continuous Improvement A continuous improvement mindset and the ability to drive daily improvements with a focus on sustain. Adaptability and willingness to learn and improve in all areas including Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Continuous Improvement.
