Purpose The Marketing Coordinator assists in the creation of strategic marketing plans and is responsible for their execution to build the business. This person is assigned broader areas of responsibilities including traditional and digital marketing, product development and updates. Essential Functions Implement strategies and tactics of approved marketing plans that support assigned markets - all consistent with the long-term strategic plans of the Company. Assist the Marketing Manager in developing and implementing marketing strategies that best serve the market, including distributor and national account-based programs. Assessing success of campaigns both short and long-term, and suggesting changes to support better market penetration. Support the development of inbound marketing materials to help promote lead generation by creating written and digital content for website, social media and company collateral. Maintain the CRM system and data, while helping disseminate information and trainings to the sales team. Responsible for developing annual media plan as well as developing and managing advertising creative, copy and placement including print and digital. Ensure the placement of ads in relevant journals and the distribution of materials to healthcare professionals within specified timeframes. Assist the Marketing Manager in identifying, validating, developing and launching new products, new indications and new markets, in addition to product label updates and changes. Actively manage online and outside vendor partners, website and social media to achieve their stated goals, as well as coordinating primary and secondary market research as required. Develop and deliver presentations to internal and external stakeholders, as necessary and represent the Company at pertinent trade shows, as assigned by departmental management. Work collaboratively with all key departments within the Company, including Sales, Research and Development, Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs, Operations, Finance, Manufacturing, and HR. Other Duties and Responsibilities Review and provide evaluation of third-party estimates and invoices involving marketing vendors. Ensure compliance of all relevant regulations by the Company and its customers. Comply with all company ISO, FDA, GMP, OSHA, and other regulatory rules and guidelines. Comply with all applicable Company rules. Be prepared to assist with or manage various ad hoc assignments as they emerge. Qualifications / Education Bachelor's degree required. Background/Training/Skills/Experience 3-5 years Marketing and/or Communications experience Medical or Pharmaceutical Industry experience a plus Technically proficient in Microsoft Office Products, Adobe Photoshop, experience with CRM and CMS systems (HubSpot preferred), and personal computer skills Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills, including the ability to produce clear and concise written business correspondence Strong analytical skills Organized, accurate and detail oriented Capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously Strong data analysis skills particularly within social media channels and Google Analytics Product Development from inception to launch Experience preparing professional written communications Ability to work effectively under pressure and to meet tight deadline Physical/Environmental Demands Well lighted, heated and/or air conditioned, indoor office/warehouse setting with adequate ventilation Occasional business travel is expected, including an occasional weekend
