Sports Dietitian Fellow (Football) The Sports Dietitian Fellow will assist with the nutrition needs for the Men's Football team and assist the Sports Dietitian in a variety of tasks to continue enhancing the sports nutrition program. * Assist with nutrition needs for Men's Football team o Nutrition education and counseling, body composition assessment and interpretation, travel nutrition, pre-/post practice and game nutrition, fueling station operations, hydration and Gatorade sweat testing, nutrition inventory maintenance, cooking demos, grocery store tours, etc. * Oversee the following nutrition needs for the Men's Football team ? Development and execution of in-season nutrition education series for freshman ? Maintenance of hydration intervention table for high-risk athletes ? Nutrition inventory management ? Pre/during/post practice needs for one position group (to be determined) throughout season * Communicate and work with Steelers Executive Chef and kitchen staff to coordinate training table menus and ordering nutrition product. * Assist with management of all football fueling stations, including assisting with training undergraduate and graduate volunteers. * Assist in development and continuous improvement of nutrition education materials and resources * Perform various administrative duties * Perform additional tasks as assigned by the sports nutrition staff. * Bachelor of Science degree in nutrition or related field * Registered Dietitian or RD eligible * At least six months of experience in sports nutrition at the collegiate or professional level * Ability to work non-standard work hours or work week, including early morning, nights or holidays * Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds The University of Pittsburgh is committed to championing all aspects of diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility within our community.
