Together we deliver systems all around the world and the markets for our products are constantly growing.Position SummaryThe Facility Manager is a working supervisory role that will oversee Maintenance and repairs of mechanical, facility and janitorial Duties and ResponsibilitiesMaintains and schedules maintenance for plant and equipment, schedules tasks and track completions using company provided software.Supervises and monitors the maintenance of company equipment (electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems).Maintains all records relating to planned and completed maintenance.Troubleshoots machine issuesOrganizes and oversees the schedules and work of maintenance staffLeads site facility projectsResponsible for maintaining and calibrating various equipment (CNCs, vacuum pumps, oil systems, BTA oil separator, water heaters, buffing booth, etc.)Monitors and supervises all contracted services including janitorial, HVAC, fire alarm, scales, cranes, roofing, etc.Responds to plant and equipment breakdown and repair requests from department leadersParticipates in weekly/monthly management communication and planning meetings, provide reports and statusParticipates in Capital Expenditure project planning, budgeting and and oversees team member development and technical training (on-the-job, online and in-person classes and workshops)Ensures maintenance and repair work is scheduled, completed correctly and in a timely manner.Requisitions and maintains appropriate stock of Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO) tools, parts, supplies and consumables and notifies appropriate personnel.Maintains, implements and contributes to Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) practices and programs in compliance with local, state and federal requirements.Ensures the safety of the facility, including fire protection systems, emergency generators, and building alarm systems.Monitors the safety and cleanliness of the interior and exterior of the building.Ensures compliance with environmental and facility safety programs.Ensures the proper disposal of hazardous and controlled wastes in compliance with regulations and guidelines. .Coordinates with outside contractors for services (such as licensed electrical, plumbing, CNC repairs, waste hauling/disposal, groundskeeping, snow plowing, etc.)Other duties as assignedQualifications and Education RequirementsHigh School Diploma/GED with 6-10 years of maintenance experience with minimum of 3 years supervisory experience required OR Associate or two-year certificate with 3-5 years maintenance experience or training with minimum of 3 years supervisory experience required. Experience with CNC machines is preferred. HAZWOPER Certification is highly preferred. Knowledge of ISO 9001 (Quality) & 14001 (Environmental) are preferred. Must have a valid NYS driver's license and maintain a good driving record.
