The Head of Marketing for DNAB will lead development and support execution of Non-Alc creative content under a globally consistent platform idea and standards as a key driver of growth. This role will bring strategy, creativity and brilliant execution skills to elevate Diageo's Non-Alc continuously growing portfolio. The Head of Marketing will partner with agencies and market partners to deliver bold and brilliant creative content that becomes a proven driver of business growth for DNAB. This role serves as the Line manager to the DNAB Creative Lead, Brand Leads for Ritual & Seedlip, Events and Sponsorship Leads, and Director, eComm and Digital. Key Performance Indicators/Core Responsibilities: Lead core brand strategy and vision, lead all DNAB core creative asset development driving distinctive and strategic cohesiveness at every consumer touchpoints. Provide the framework for global/local content development within this strategy and ensure brand salience through effective collaborate with the overall pillar leads within US and Canada in delivering world class content that the market will commit to deploy at minimum threshold levels. Oversees the ideation and execution of creative assets and applications for Diageo's continuously evolving DNAB Organization. Function capabilities for the role: Proven strategic judgement and analytical rigour, with the ability to translate strategy into action Proven management and implementation of full marketing mix with proven results Demonstrated strong creative judgement and flair Solid grounding in marketing with particular skills required in strategy, content / advertising development and digital Commercial & project management experience, to ensure that recommended content is successfully implemented in market Leadership capabilities for the role: Shape the Future - Outstanding cultural savvy, marketing flair and judgement, create and articulate a compelling vision that mobilizes markets and partners entrepreneurial mentality able to manage through ambiguity and calculated risk taking Inspire through Purpose - Build relationships to drive a creative agenda through a highly matrixed organisation - create the conditions for outstanding collaboration and alignment; driving business alignment and senior level belief, brilliant at inspiring agency partners Invest in Talent - Energise and inspire others to deliver outstanding results including agency partners, GBT partners and Smirnoff teams around the world Win through Execution - move effectively between strategy and operational detail and knowing when and where to intervene and commitment to outstanding delivery of results Essential qualifications / experience required: Undergraduate Degree required, MBA a plus. Proven experience in local marketing roles and experience of large scale campaign adaptation/development and culture-first creative leadership. Strong record of performance delivery and experience of creating and leading powerful content and integrated platforms. Demonstrated expertise in creating consumer and customer marketing campaigns with a focus on education and trade awareness to recruit new consumers. Extensive grassroots occasion marketing from large-scale events to local markets Expertise in building from the ground up and selling in a brand strategy for new to Diageo portfolio. Influencing senior partners in service of brand and business outcomes. Good commercial skills and ability to educate digital marketing and eComm to broader Diageo NA.
