Responsibilities Interested in a procedure-based job? Looking to care for adult and pediatric oncology, neurology, and cardiology patients? Be one of an exclusive number of nurses in NY state that perform apheresis procedures. Complete plasma and red blood cell exchanges. Collect stem cells and T cells for the Stem Cell Transplant & Cellular Therapy Program. As the subject matter expert, the RN performs autonomously every day. Strong interpersonal communication, flexibility, organization, and excellent IV skills preferred. Requires an active New York State RN license in good standing. Minimum one-year inpatient care experience required. Qualifications Requires a Diploma, Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Nursing Program and an active New York State RN license in good standing. Applicants will have a minimum of 6-12 months of RN experience. This position assumes the charge nurse role, actively participates in unit/service activities, supports co-workers, and assesses unit needs.
