Instead of seeking someone who is already a finished product, the firm looks for individuals with potential, investing in their growth through mentorship, training, and continuous development opportunities.The firm prides itself not just on its technical expertise but also on its cultural fit, ensuring that new hires align with their values and vision for New York's built environment.Responsibilities:Quickly grasp project requirements, ensuring proper planning, documentation, and compliance with client standards.Monitor project costs and track progress, maintaining clear and transparent communication with all stakeholders.Actively participate in both fieldwork and desk tasks, whether interacting with clients or handling project details.Apply strong analytic and problem-solving skills, staying composed in unexpected anize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks to ensure an effective work-life balance.Utilize sound knowledge of planning, documentation, local laws, codes, and filing requirements to guide project execution.Demonstrate a working knowledge of building enclosures from design to completion and the ability to sketch field conditions.Familiarity with CAD, NYC Scaffold Certifications, and OSHA certifications are considered a plus.Coordinate with engineers and technical personnel to ensure successful project outcomes.Maintain, market, and promote restoration and forensic engineering consulting services to new and existing clients.Assist and train less experienced staff in various roles.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or equivalent industry experience.7+ Years experience in a restoration focused roleStrong proficiency with technology, especially Microsoft tools.A clean driver's license and insurance if using a personal vehicle for work.Knowledge of planning, documentation, local laws, codes, and filing requirements in the construction industry.A solid understanding of building construction and maintenance processes, from design to completion.OSHA and scaffold certifications are a bonus.Cultural Fit:Passionate about New York's heritage and future, and committed to preserving its architectural integrity.A team player who thrives in a collaborative, supportive work environment.Salary: $100,000 - $150,000
