We offer contract manufacturing to customer design, custom designs for specific applications and a wide range of standard products.Continued modernization and automation of manufacturing equipment and environmental controls enable us to maintain our leading position in the marketplace.Job Title: SalespersonLocation: Waukesha, WIReports To: Sales ManagerPart I - Position PurposeThe primary scope of this role is to grow our business through sales prospecting, developing future and current customer relationship and execution of business development strategy. This position will also utilize individual technical, communication and product knowledge to develop product solutions, generate sales quotations and process customer orders for Castalloy.Duties include solution development based on customer application requirements to most effectively meet customer requirements with company technologies. This requires communication through outside sales and manufacturer's representatives, cultivating and sustaining customer relationships, developing sales leads, negotiating sales terms, training independent sales resources, and coordinationcommunication with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Sales personnel to complete transactions efficiently and ensure customer satisfaction. Some travel of 10% as needed to support sales agents and represent Castalloy at technical conferences and trade shows.Part II - Job FunctionsGenerate quotations of Castalloy products and follow through with customers or sales agents to effectively deliver solutions to customer application requirements.Working with company guidelines, negotiate all customer orders.Act as a customer contact for all Castalloy related issuesactivities.Work in partnership with independent sales representatives to support market development, and trainingParticipate in technical conferences, sales training, trade shows and other forums in support of the Castalloy product line.Research market trends and competitors, developsarticulates findings to recommend strategies that will maximize company revenue and profitability.Prepare and submit sales forecasting reports and other required information regularly.Work closely with sales team on customer prospects and existing customer relationshipsCollaborate with other departments including front office and shop floor to ensure highest level of excellence in customer experience.Part III - Qualifications and ExperienceAssociate or bachelor's degree in sales, business administration, or related3 - 5 years of experience in sales or an industrial organization, metal casting or related is a plusValid Driver's license and willingness to travel.Familiarity with CastingFoundries & related business practices is a plusMust be able to travel up to 25% to Midwest regionsPart IV - Characteristics Detail-oriented and thorough consideration for multiple components.Driven to achieve operational efficiencies while maintaining a high-quality outcome.Persistent and patient in all applicable scenarios.Able to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks and achieve set targets with excellent follow through and follow up.Must understand basic financial concepts as they relate to pricing, discounts, profitability, and cost.Must have high energy and proven success in all aspects of the sales process.Must understand technical documentation.A self-motivated individual, with ability to energize others.Highest possible ethical and professional standardsBehaves in accordance with expressed beliefs and commitments.Ability to build and maintain effective and productive relationships with stakeholders, and customersAbility to work independently and as part of teamAble to work well under pressure and handle emergency and stressful situations.
