Title: Scheduling Coordinator Optimization AnalystLocation: On-SiteDuration: PermanentCompensation: $100,000yr - $110,000yrExact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.JOB DESCRIPTIONCES is expanding its team and is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator GridBOOST Optimization Analyst to support our GridBOOST Optimization Energy Market Scheduling software and the Market Operations Center. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience in the energy sector (experience with CAISO, ERCOT, ISONE, MISO, SPP, or PJM preferred). This position requires a commitment to a 3-week rotating schedule that includes some weekends and on-call responsibilities. We are looking for a proactive individual who is eager to assist our clients and contribute to the company's growth. Successful candidates will be quick learners who can manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail. KEY RESPONSIBILITES:Work a rotating 3-person, 8-hour shift schedule, including weekends and occasional holidays. Submit Real-Time and Day-Ahead Energy bids and offers on behalf of clients, adhering to ISORTO market timelines. Monitor the operation of utility-scale battery storage facilities, wind turbines, hydroelectric plants, and solar sites. Ensure the economical dispatch of generation assets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate maintenance activities and implement corrective measures as necessary. Utilize monitoring tools and software to analyze performance metrics and optimize energy production efficiency. Participate in training sessions and knowledge-sharing activities to stay updated on industry trends and best practices. Coordinate notifications for planned, unplanned, and emergency outages. Communicate effectively with team members and clients.REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE3-5 years of experience in the energy sector Market knowledge within optimization A two-year college degree in Electrical Technology, FinanceEconomics, or a related engineering field, or equivalent experience Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail, even under stressful conditions. Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., email, internet, word processing, Excel).NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEExperience with CAISO, ERCOT, ISONE, MISO, SPP, or PJM preferred Preferred PJM or NERC Operator Certification (CES is willing to provide training and certification; candidates must be willing to maintain certification through continuing education). Experience monitoring GE, Siemens, PI, or other Generation SCADAEMS Systems is a plus.
