Sourcing Specialist

$21.00 - $30.00 (est. hourly pay rate) Job Summary:Our client is seeking a Sourcing Specialist who will partner with internal and external customers in the execution of the sourcing process including assisting in project assessment, developing project and sourcing strategy, evaluating supplier capabilities, and negotiating contracts to achieve financial and quality objectives. This opportunity is located in SeaTac, WA! Duties:Maintain strong working relationships and communications with customers and suppliersAssist in developing, implementing, and managing contracts Interface with all levels within the Company and Supplier organizationsWork closely with Procurement Buyers and the Sourcing Team to identify sourcing opportunitiesManage entire life cycle for commodities, including source selection, vendor oversight and asset acquisition and dispositionEnsure supplier meets or exceeds quality, cost and performance objectivesOther duties as assignedDesired SkillsExperience:High school diploma or equivalent required1+ years of buying, sourcing, or related experience, required; 3+ years preferredExperience in Microsoft Office products requiredStrong written and oral communication skills requiredStrong team-building and project management skills preferredExperience in vendor oversight, including performance management and continuous improvement preferredBenefits:Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance Plans401K offered
