This well-established company is seeking a Pre-Construction Estimator to join their team and contribute to the accurate and successful pricing of upcoming projects.Position Overview:The Pre-Construction Estimator will be responsible for preparing detailed and competitive estimates for commercial construction projects. This role is critical in ensuring that projects are properly budgeted and that the company's bids are both competitive and profitable. You will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure all project specifications are accurately assessed and costed.Key Responsibilities:Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects in sectors such as retail, restaurants, fitness facilities, and shopping centers.Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to determine project scope and requirements.Obtain and evaluate quotes from subcontractors and suppliers to develop accurate pricing.Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to refine estimates and ensure alignment with project goals.Maintain a comprehensive understanding of market trends, material costs, and labor rates to produce accurate and competitive estimates.Participate in pre-construction meetings to provide insights and recommendations on cost-saving opportunities.Qualifications:Proven experience in estimating within the commercial construction industry, with a focus on retail, restaurant, or shopping center projects.Strong knowledge of construction costs, processes, and project management principles.Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.What's on Offer:Competitive salary range of $80,000 - $100,000, based on experience.Performance-based bonus prehensive benefits package including health insurance and retirement plans.Opportunities for professional growth and development within a successful and supportive team.
