We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer with a Professional Engineer (PE) license to take the lead on our EV charging infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in designing and implementing innovative EV charging systems, as well as strong project management and leadership skills to drive project success. Responsibilities Lead and manage EV charging infrastructure projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and compliance with regulations and standards. Provide technical guidance on the design of EV charging systems, including site selection and electrical distribution. Mentor and lead a team of engineers and technicians, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. Collaborate effectively with clients, contractors, utility companies, and other stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes. Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and relevant safety standards throughout the design and installation processes. Stay current on advancements in EV charging technology and industry trends, incorporating this knowledge into project designs. Support business development by identifying new project opportunities and building relationships with potential clients. Requirements Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Professional Engineer (PE) license in Electrical Engineering. Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably with a focus on EV charging infrastructure. Expertise in electrical codes and standards, including the NEC, and EV charging protocols (e.g., SAE J1772, CHAdeMO). Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit). Strong understanding of power systems, electrical distribution, and grounding. Proven project management skills and the ability to lead teams.
