This position will give you the opportunity to engineer custom solutions and work on a cross-functional to team to deliver equipment projects and superior customer service. You will report to the Lead Design Engineer and Engineering Manager. What we expect of you? You will design custom SPR tooling designs for customer applications and release to build. Perform engineering calculations and analysis as needed for design efforts and projects. You will complete documentation packages to support project requirements. Collaborate with customers and vendors to ensure full satisfaction of all technical requirements and schedules. You will assist in the installation and commissioning of equipment on an as-needed basis You will follow all document control procedures within a PLM environment. Work with Quality and Operations to ensure prompt response to corrective actions when required Work within all company and Engineering Team guidelines, rules and procedures. You will provide suggestions to the the Engineering Coordinator for new methods and products, and the improvement of current standards; work to develop these ideas into standards. Work work as part of a cross-functional team to deliver equipment projects. Work with minimal supervision on all the above core tasks Business travel to support the above activities (less than 10%). Any other duties as required. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Knowledge of PC Window based software. Skill with 3D CAD software such as Solid Edge in part, assembly, and drafting environments. Good communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. EDUCATION OR QUALIFICATIONS: A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (AS APPLICABLE): This role is primarily stationary in an office setting. Occasional walking throughout a manufacturing facility as needed. What you can expect from us?
