SUMMARY Under the direction of the practice administrator and Chief of Ear, Nose and Throat, supervises the clinical operations of seven audiological practices and the hearing aid dispensing programs at five of those practices. Serves as a departmental supervisor. Monitors the continuity of systems, procedures and service standards. With Speech/Language Pathology Manager and Project Manager, monitors and co-manages budgets and systems that impact financial performance within department(s) of responsibility. In collaboration with the practice administrator, monitors staffing levels in relation to visit volume. Performs additional functions that may relate to the incumbent's particular expertise, experience, or professional identity. EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS Master's degree or equivalent in audiology required. State of Massachusetts license in audiology required. American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) strongly preferred. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required based on specialty. EXPERIENCE Comprehensive knowledge of management and supervisory principles, practices and techniques, often acquired training and work experience. Six or more years of patient experience required. SKILLS Excellent communication skills, both written and oral and must also display well-developed interpersonal skills in order to work successfully with all levels of management, staff and patients.
