What We're Looking For: We are currently hiring a full-time AG Center Manager for our Pasco facility. The AG Center Manager will report to the Director of Field Operations. As an AG Center Manager, you will oversee all operations related to the AG Center and seasonal field maintenance and production. What You Need to Be Successful Mechanical or Mechanical Engineering training from accredited school or college preferred. Maintenance Background - 10-15 years. Knowledge and experience in ordering parts for field equipment. Welding knowledge- Metallurgy, Mig & Stick Welding. Experience using Acetylene gas in the cutting and welding of metals. Training in Gas and Diesel Engine and power transmission repair. Training in Hydraulic Fluid Power. Working knowledge with MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams). Language Ability- Ability to read and comprehend instructions. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Valid WA State driver's license and CPR/First Aid Certification. Able to obtain a State Commercial Driver's License if needed. Valid Flagging Training-for low boy and equipment transportation to and from fields. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Oversee the necessary maintenance needed for all harvesting equipment. Responsible for AG equipment readiness for processing season including rebuilding of equipment, etc. Coaches and mentors AG Center team through problem solving activity and implementation of corrective actions. Oversee staffing of AG Center workforce, including interviewing, onboarding, and training processes. Prioritize jobs and distribute assignments. Support the Field Department in the harvesting operation. Purchase parts for AG Center as needed. Inform Director of Field Operations of essential operation decisions. Educate and Maintain knowledge of Organic Farming practices. Maintain and supply all essential records related to the AG Center equipment. Conduct monthly employee safety meetings. Perform all necessary training for AG Center personnel. Assist in annual hearing testing. Works shifts and overtime as required. Attends meetings, conferences, workshops, and training sessions/courses to become and remain current with production practices and current trends in the industry. May perform other duties as assigned. Essential Physical Abilities: The following essential functions may be performed with or without reasonable accommodation: The employee must be able to walk farmland, sometimes in adverse weather and rough ground conditions. Able to work long hours for several days in a row, when needed, 7 days a week. Be able to work in hot and humid weather conditions. The employee must have the ability to lift heavy items up to 50lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close Vision, Distance Vision, Peripheral Vision, Depth Perception, and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands/fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk and hear. *Selected employee will be required to pass a background check, pre-employment drug screen and E-Verify* Benefits of an AG Center Manager Competitive Wages, range $95,000-$130,000 per year Exempt Position Excellent Benefit Package Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance.
